Things here at the ministry have been very busy, but all very good. God is good. We are so excited to share with you what we have been doing.
Thinking on all that God has been doing, our hearts are filled with gratitude. We never know exactly when, where, or how the Lord will move, but one thing we have learned is that He is always present, faithfully working in ways beyond what we can imagine.
This summer has been a beautiful reminder of His faithfulness. Through our Summer Camps, we have already had three short-term mission teams. Each one of the teams has come with willing hearts, unique gifts, and a desire to serve.
We were able to share the love of Christ with children, youth, and families in the communities we serve.
Believe us, the mission teams are much more than a group of volunteers; they are the Body of Christ serving together. Every person makes a difference and is so special. Whether teaching, playing with children, leading sports, sharing the Gospel, doing home visits, praying with families, encouraging our local leaders, preaching in the church, doing some construction, painting, or simply building relationships, every act of service becomes a powerful expression of God’s love.
The teams not only bless our communities, they strengthen our local ministry, serve alongside our pastors, staff, and volunteers, and remind us that we are part of one global Church with one mission: to make Christ known.
So far, we have had three short-term mission trips: Champion Fellowship from Brenham, TX; Calvary Chapel from Knoxville, TN; and Sierra Bible Church from Sonora, CA.
One thing that is especially encouraging is that the impact goes both ways. While we are blessed, those who come to serve are often deeply touched. Lives are changed, faith is strengthened, lasting friendships are formed, and many return home with a renewed passion for God’s mission around the world or even become more involved with their local faith community.
All the individuals and teams that visit Restoration Ministries become part of a story that God is writing: a beautiful story of hope and transformation reaching lives.

Special Volunteers
We are so happy to have Sophia back serving with us! She took a few weeks to return to the United States to take care of her passport renewal and a few other important matters, and we are grateful to have her back in Brazil, continuing to serve alongside our team.
Throughout the summer, we have also been blessed by several individuals who came to serve with us. Each volunteer brought unique gifts, encouragement, and a heart willing to love and serve the people in our communities. One of those volunteers was Emily, who spent about two months here serving alongside our ministry. We are so thankful for the time she invested and the impact she had on the lives of so many.
