A visit from the Jenkins family, connections that cross borders, and a month full of transformation! See how March was special for Restoration Ministries.
Dear friends,
March was an unforgettable month for us! We had the privilege of welcoming very special visitors and experiencing moments that further reinforced the mission of Restoration Ministries. We want to share a little of what happened here with you.
A visit that inspired us! 🎬✨

In March, we were blessed with the presence of Dallas Jenkins, creator and director of the series The Chosen, along with his wife, Amanda Jenkins, and their daughter, Elle Jenkins. For those who may not know, The Chosen is a globally impactful series that portrays the life of Jesus Christ from the perspective of those who lived with Him. With millions of viewers worldwide, the series has moved and transformed lives with its deep and engaging approach.
Dallas and his family spent two days immersed in our work, getting to know each project we develop with the children and their families. They participated in Agita Restauração, visited the homes of the children’s families, attended the services held in the communities, and saw firsthand how we strive to be instruments of transformation in these children’s lives. It was a joy to welcome them and see how they connected with everything we do here.
Connections that cross borders 🌍🤝
In addition to the visit from the Jenkins family, March was also marked by the arrival of missionaries from Scotland, the Netherlands, England, and the United States. Some of them will stay with us for up to five months, actively serving and sharing knowledge, experiences, and, of course, lots of love.
For the children, this cultural exchange has been an incredible experience! They are discovering new languages, customs, and stories, broadening their horizons, and strengthening friendships with people who travel from afar to be here, serving alongside them. But it’s not just the children who learn—we all grow through this diversity of experiences and testimonies.
Our daily work continues full speed ahead! 🚀

While we enjoyed these special moments with our visitors, our projects continue strong, bringing joy, learning, and hope to the children:
🎶 Agita Restauração – Games, music, and outdoor fun!
📖 Bible Clubs – Studying God’s Word and strengthening children’s faith.
⚽ Sports – Soccer, capoeira, and Muay Thai to develop discipline and teamwork.
📚 Tutoring – Supporting education and helping children grow in their studies.
🎻 Music Lessons – Discovering talents with guitar and orchestral instruments.
🏡 Family Visits – Building close relationships and providing real support.
🌍 English Classes – A new language as a gateway to new opportunities.
All these projects continue thanks to the support and involvement of people like you.
