Our work with the children is already in full swing, with new experiences, learning, and lots of joy at the start of the year.
We’re back! 🥳
After a collective holiday period in January, we returned full force at the beginning of February! There’s no better way to start the year than by doing what we love most: impacting lives and transforming realities. And the first days of activities have already shown that 2025 will be an amazing year! 💛
Our activities are in full swing! 🚀 Every child who participates in our projects receives much more than just education or recreation. They find a space of welcome, friendship, and development. Here’s what’s already happening:
🎶 Agita Restauração – Our recreational activity has brought so much joy to the children, with music, games, and outdoor moments that make all the difference in their daily lives!
📖 Clubinhos – Small study and Bible reflection groups where children grow in fellowship and learn more about values that transform lives.
⚽ Sports – Muay Thai, capoeira, and football have already started and are incredible opportunities to work on discipline, respect, and teamwork.
📚 School Support – Our commitment goes beyond leisure! The school support has been essential to strengthen learning and help children develop better in their studies.
🎻 Music – Guitar and orchestra instrument lessons are shaping young musicians and awakening talents that once seemed far from many children’s reality.
🏡 Family Visits – More than taking care of the children, we want to be close to their families. Our visits provide support, care, and the certainty that no one is alone.
💬 English Classes – A new language opens doors and broadens horizons! Having this opportunity from childhood makes all the difference in the future of these children.
🎭 Culture in Action! – In February, we took some children to watch a play at the Fábrica de Cultura Sapopemba. It was an amazing experience, full of enchantment and learning, providing unforgettable moments and sparking even more interest in art and culture.
Unique cultural experience! 🌍 This month was also marked by the arrival of three young foreign missionaries from the United States and Scotland. They join an American missionary and a Dutch missionary who have been with us since last year. It’s incredible to see how this cultural exchange enriches the experience of the children and strengthens our work even more!
