In Brazil on October 15, it is a big holiday when we celebrate kid’s day. At the main day center we had a large party for the kids from all the communities that we work in.
Restoration ministries were able to have the Brazilian Chinese church helping us in different ways–with volunteers, making lunch for the kids and providing toys. We are so pleased for their lives; they had been a blessing for the ministry.
We had over a 500 kids attending the program.
This week the Restoration Ministries’ staff members are having their week off. Some of them are traveling, please keep the team in your prayers.
Next week we will be starting our monthly training with the staff and planning for the next year.
Future events:
We will have a team in December from Corvallis church, a teen camp, a Christmas party for the kids at the main day center, and Christmas service.
Prayer requests:
Pray for William. He had his car stole in front of the day center last week. He hasn’t gotten his car back. and also for each member of the staff, Pamela, Gleice, Adesia, Tati, Antonio, Wellington, Rodrigo , Lucia, Cido and William.
