Every year, we do the best we can to celebrate with great joy a very special commemorative date for us Brazilians, Children’s Day.

The date is October 12th and expectations for children are very high for that date. In 2023, we held a special party in each community, celebrating with lots of joy, fun, cotton candy, soft drinks, and of course, lots of candies.

In the favelas, we talk about the story of Jonah, and with great love, through his story we taught children the importance of obeying God and their parents.

On the last day of the party, we were blessed with the donation of 300 Pasteis (a famous food here in Brazil). With the help of God and many brothers and sister in faith, the children had a wonderful time.
