Thursday was so much fun! In Brazil, we have four days to celebrate Easter. Everyone is off work Thursday and Friday for the holiday, so we invited the church to join us at Agita. We had a great turnout and the kids were so excited to have us there. It was high energy and a lot of fun!
Typically, we do visits during the week, but this Saturday was different. We had a special Easter Saturday Service!
Promorar has a church that meets on Saturday nights. We would love to establish churches in each of the favela communities we work in. This is not an easy task! As we are developing relationships in these communities, people are meeting Jesus! But the relationship can’t stop there! We do follow up visits and pray with them in their homes, doing bible studies and meeting together on a regular basis. It is our prayer that God would raise up Pastors to shepherd the people in these communities. Promorrar is the first of these satelite churches. This weekend, Scott Hanson was the guest speaker for the service. Pastor Antonio led worship with Fabiano, a 12 yr old, adopted by a family from Promorrar. We also had a special performance by Racquel (left) and Nicole (right).
The Easter service was incredible with several special performances. I love when the kids have a chance to get involved in the service! The kids have a blast doing their performance and the adults always enjoy watching it!

We had a Agita Restauraçao Program at Vila Rosa. We held the program at a different location– on the other side of Vila Rosa.
During the morning program, we had 65 children and 7 adults. In the afternoon 90 children and 12 adults assisted the program.
It was a fun as well as a blessed time. It was a time when we shared the love of Christ.
As the children played, sang, danced, played games and then sat quietly listening to the story of Noah, the adults listened with rapt attention. Pray with us that those that heard will begin to want to follow Jesus. Now we have a number of new families to follow up.

We would like to share with you what God has been doing in Brazil through Restoration Ministries, last year. We could not accomplish what we do without your partnership. Thank you so much for your care for us at Restoration Ministries. Each one of you that contributes is “Investing in Hope” ! We were able through the love of God to reach many children and adults last year.
To have the short-term teams come and participate with us was a blessing. They contribute in reaching the greatest number of children. Because they are of a different culture, the love that they show the children and the time they spend with them has drawn much attention to the ministry from the children and community.
Different activities such as handicrafts have also contributed to new groups starting. The groups who came and made crafts with the women or shared in Bible studies have solidified their involvement in the ministry.
We want to share with you some results of RM
The “Sharing Christmas” campaign to raise presents for the 500 children for Christmas was successful!
God is faithful in his promises. When Paulo and I remember the beginning of ministry, we didn’t have any financial support or any building facility, but we did ministry under these conditions. But God was always faithful—He supplied everything .
During those years we were discouraged about the conditions in which we were doing ministry. We thought about giving up when faced with so many difficulties years ago. BUT God had a better plan and today, we contemplate the sovereignty of God in different aspects of the ministries.
Today we have the day center, the camp and are able to reach many children and adults sharing the love of God. On the day we were ready to give up, we had no idea what God had already prepared for His Glory.
We keep dreaming still! It is amazing to have two key people, Wellington and Tati, who are fruits of this ministry and chosen by God to do His work today as IPM(International Partners in Ministry) under WorldVenture! They are both in the USA to raise resources. I believe by faith that God will bless them richly in their journey and that God has big surprises for their individual lives and ministries .
We are initiating a systematic training to develop leaders in Ministry. The idea is that mentored individuals will become great leaders who could serve in ministry as well as be great leaders in secular life. They would become Christians who love and are followers of Christ as examples to the world.
My dream is that they become the new generation of leaders in ministry, and that Restoration Ministries will continue to grow to be an example as a world’s urban ministry center.
Our desire is to reach more children and their families, to do in-depth Bible study application, to see the growth of the church, and to leverage a new generation of leaders.
We CANNOT achieve this goal without your help.
Currently we are facing a financial challenge! Financial giving for January and February has been down over 57 percent. Our financial needs to maintain our existing ministries are about $14,000 per month. Currently , the contributions received to run the ministry have been about $8,000 per month. Would you prayerfully consider stepping in to help fill the gap? If you have friends or know of other churches that are desiring to partner with a ministry, we ask that you forward this newsletter.
We are still trusting in the Lord for He is our provider!

We had last Sunday the kick off for Leadership Training Program was a great moment with some dynamic, warm up time and the devotional, to finish we had a barbecue.
All the students were so excited about it. We will have 16 students for its first year, the program takes place in three years.
We encourage each of you …guys to pray for them.
Rodrigo shared his testemoines at the comunity of Vila Rosa
For the ones who don’t know Rodrigo was hit by a motorcycle stayed in coma for a while, he had a brain surgery the doctors toughed he won’t survive.
But God had a better plan and did a miracle in Rodrigo’s life for His glory.
Unfortanable he won’t be able to hear from his left ears, but he is rejoyincyn in the Lord for the gift of life .
We are so thankful to God day by them by what He has done on Rodrigo’s life.
