The Main Day Center
Our main daycenter is located about 20 minutes southeast of downtown Sao Paulo. It is our base of operations and is used seven days a week for ministry related activites, church functions, outreach programs and more.
Satellite Day Centers
We are currently serving five communities in the surrounding area. In each of these locations, Restoration Ministries maintains a satellite daycenter. These are very useful for our Agita program, bible studies, church meetings and special events.
Camp California:
Camp California is located an hour and a half outside São Paulo. It is approximately 5 acres in size, and includes 600 different fruit trees, beautiful flowers, a vegetable garden, pool, soccer field, tennis court, playground, furnished cabins and a meeting place for 150 people. The facilities can accommodate 80 – 100 people.
Camp California generally functions as a weekend camp that we organize for the children and teenagers we work with. For these kids, who are used to living in places devoid of leisure and beauty, the camp is a special place where they can enjoy nature’s beauty. Not only that, but they also get to sleep in a comfortable bed, eat three meals a day, play with camp counselors, and are given an opportunity to learn about Jesus.
It is a peaceful place, called by the kids themselves as “Camp California – a piece of heaven on earth”.
We are currently working to utilitze this location and make it available to rent for weddings, companies, churches, and organizations.
